Thomas H. Singletary, Jr. was born October 30, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Sedalia Brown Singletary and Thomas H. Singletary, Sr. He received most of his education in the San Antonio School System, where he was involved in track and field, the discus throw, and football. Thomas went onto graduate in 1962.
