Thelma Brown Watts was born December 11, 1941 to the parentage of Rev. Samuel Shadrach Brown and Ruth Thelma Brown Blackburn in Jackson, Mississippi. Thelma accepted Christ into her life at an early age in Jackson, Mississippi. She received her formal education in the public school system graduating from Flint Central High School in Flint, MI.
