Ruby Estelle Lindley was born on December 8, 1934 to the parentage of Mark and Elzia Lindley in Houston, Texas. She turned her life over to Christ at an early age with membership at St. Stephen’s Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. After Ruby relocated to San Antonio, Texas, she united with the New Light Baptist Church where the pastor was the Rev. Dr. P. S. Wilkinson. Ruby was a member of Mission # 1. She was active and faithful to the Mission and the New Light Church until her health began to fail.
