Obituary for Roseland Lavern Brown

Roseland Lavern Brown affectionately known as “Lavern” was born February 8, 1963 in Lamesa, Texas to the late Charlie Brown and Ella Fay Brown. Roseland received her education in the San Antonio Public School System attending Breckenridge Elementary, Tafolla Middle School and Southwest High School. She entered the workforce working for Crest Haven as a Laundry Attendant. She then entered the Food Service industry until she later was employed at The State Hospital where she was a dedicand and hard working employee. Roseland was known to be a good-hearted person and always caring for the well-being of others. She loved to watch scary movies, eat, travel and more than anything, she was a dog lover. Roseland was gifted a dog by the name of “Bella” by a co-worker at The State Hospital whom she loved and cared for dearly. Roseland met the love of her life Eddie Moore. They gloriously remained as one until his demise. Roseland is proceeded in death by her Eddie Moore, father, Charlie Brown and mother, Ella Faye Brown Anderson. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tamika; two sisters, Almeda Brown and Gloria Sanford; brother, Ivan Sanford; and a host of relatives, extended family and special friends.
