Robert David Boulden was born February 18, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to Anna Dorothy Free. “R.D.”, as he was affectionately called by friend and family, received his education in the San Antonio Independent School District attending Sojourner Truth Public School. Robert was reared in the Kenwood area, where he was raised by his grandmother Mary Ann Free.
