Odessa Mae Stevenson was born January 22, 1932 in St. Hedwig, Texas to the late Edmond Stevenson and Dicie Williams. Odessa received her formal education in the local St. Hedwig Public School System. Odessa had a relationship with the Lord throughout her life. She was a member at Greater Matthews Baptist Church and enjoyed directing the Church Choir.
