Michael Alonzo Robinson was born August 26, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas to the parentage of Samuel Robinson, Jr. and Alberta Richard Robinson. He was the third oldest of four children. Raised on the Eastside of town where he was exposed to a culture of hard work, community and Christian religion. Michael attended and graduated Sam Houston High School and was referred to as "Michael Rob."
