Dr. Mary Ann Brown was born February 25, 1946 in Bastrop County to Superintendent Huland and Annie Lou Williams. As a child Mary attended Glen Oak Church Of God In Christ and Dale Church Of God In Christ where her father was the pastor. She was educated in the Austin Independent School District where she graduated from Anderson High School May of 1964.
