Marvin Corothers made his graceful entry into the world on April 3, 1951. He is one of three children blessed to Nathaniel Corothers and Rosa Lee Corothers (Jones). Marvin accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He graduated from Brackenridge High School in San Antonio, Texas in 1969. After high school, Marvin attended St. Phillips College and eventually joined the U.S. Army National Guard. He served 24 years and retired with military honors as an SSG/E6 Engineer and Powertrain Repairman.
