On Saturday, September 3rd, 2022, our beloved mother, Margaret R. Edwards was called to eternal peace. “Marie” as she was affectionately called, was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on March 4th, 1942 to the late Johnie B. Senn, Sr. and Willie Mae Burton Senn. At a young age, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at Bibleway Temple in Washington, D.C. Marie served the Lord faithfully at various churches throughout her life’s journey. In 2019 she became a member of Destiny Center House of Worship where she remained actively involved until her failing health in recent years. As a member and the First Mother of the Church, her generous spirit and her desire to serve impacted not only the church, but everyone she came in contact with.
