JuLisa Monaye Mitchell was born December 18, 1988 in San Antonio, Texas to Latrece Marcell Williams and Kenneth Ray Mitchell. JuLisa accepted Christ at the age of seven at the Church of The Living God Temple under the leadership of Rev. Robert Washington. JuLisa received her formal education in the San Antonio Independent School District attending Booker T. Washington Elementary, Jeff Davis Middle School and Sam Houston High School where she was a great scholar and athlete playing basketball, volleyball, and maintaining a 3.9 GPA at the time of graduation.
