Julia Ann Alexander Bingham was born on June 1, 1950 to Arthur Lee Alexander Sr. and Florene Tealer Alexander. Julia and her siblings were reared by her loving grandmother, Lillian Brasfield Tealer due to the early passing of her mother. Julia received her formal education in the Edgewood School District, where she graduated from Edgewood High School. While in high school Julia was an athlete and was a star basketball player. Julia furthered her education attending St. Phillips College in the Nursing Program. Julia entered the workforce and was employed for Fashion Fair Cosmetics.
