Juan Carlos Ortega was born March 6, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas to Maria Ybarra and Eleuterio Hector Ortega. Juan Carlos, known as "Carlos", received his formal education in the public school system attending Fox Tech High School. He was the youngest brother of two brothers and five sisters. Following high school, Juan entered the work force and was self-employed in Appliance Repair. Juan Carlos was an outgoing person, that loved to BBQ, Fish, he loved music and spending time with family and friends. He was known by many as the Clown (Joker). Juan met and married Rosa I. Ortega and this union remained united until Juan's passing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Ybarra and his father, Eleuterio Hector Ortega. Juan leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Rosa I. Ortega, son, Carlos Martinez, stepchildren, Andres Salinas, Gina Flores, Pete Almendarez, Thomas Almendarez, Kimberly Almendarez, brothers, Micheal San Miguel, Robert Montoya (Gina), sisters, Stella San Miguel, Irene Medine, Rosalinda Castillo, Trinie Arevalo, Gloria Ortega (Juan) and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
