Obituary for John L. Foster

John Larry Foster was born on December 12, 1948 in New Roads, Louisiana to the late J.B. Foster and Thelma Sneed Foster. John received his education in the New Roads Public School System attending Roseweld High School. John relocated to San Antonio, Texas where he entered the workforce working for several employers such as Luby’s Cafeteria as a Lead Cook, SAISD as a Bus Driver and Edgewood School District as a Custodian. John was also a business owner owning his own self-mechanical shop. John loved to cook, his favorite dishes were catfish and French Frys, his famous Gumbo and pork steak with red and brown gravy. He really enjoyed softball, billards and working on cars in his free time. John accepted Christ at First United Pentecostal Church located in San Antonio, Texas.
