John Henry Douglas, Sr. was born Friday, March 19, 1943 in Bennettsville, South Carolina. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Level Green Methodist Church. He was a member of the gospel singing groups, The Carolina Travelers and The Faithful Few.
