Jesse R. Dixon was born April 28, 1946 in Mobile, AL, the first child and only son of Johnny Prince Dixon I and Teresa King Dixon. He received his formal education in Mobile attending Mattie T. Blount High School and graduating in 1964. Following graduation, Jesse went on to attend Bishop State Community College in Mobile, AL, graduating in 1966.
