Iesha Deshawn Wilson Batiste was born August 14, 1987 to Kevin Dewayne Shelton and Felicia Deshon Wilson in San Antonio, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age with membership at Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Harper. She received her formal education in the San Antonio Independent School District attending Pershing Elementary, Wheatley Middle School and a graduate of Sam Houston High School.
