Harold Lloyd DeCluette best known as “Harry” or “Haylord” was born January 25, 1949 in Palestine, Texas to Ira Willie DeCluette Sr. and Lydia McCowan DeCluette. Harold received his education in the Palestine School District attending A.M. Story High School. Following his formal school years, Harold went on to join The United States Army where he served his country in the Vietnam War and was honored with a Purple Heart.
