Gary Smith was born August 19, 1989 to the parentage of Gary Johnson and Lynell Simmons Smith in New Orleans, Louisiana. He accepted Christ into his life at the age of five at the Hope Baptist Church in New Orleans. Gary received his formal education in the New Orleans School District. The family later relocated to San Antonio, Texas, where Gary completed his education attending Sam Houston High School and graduating from Roosevelt High School.
