Obituary for Eva Garcia

Eva Joyce Garcia was born on November 6, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Boza Jackson and Lucille Hogans. Eva received her education in the San Antonio Public School System. She continued her education attending St. Phillips College where she studied to be a Certified Nurse Aid and a Teacher’s Assistant, Eva entered the workforce working for VIA as a Bus Operator and assisting with the elderly as a Certified Nurse Assistant. She then entered the world of entrepreneurship doing numerous things such as building various items, home improvement, home repair and mechanic work. Eva enjoyed going to the casino, cooking meals from scratch, reading books, doing crossword puzzles, engaging in intellectual debates, doing hair, shopping, collecting antique items, gold jewelry, vehicles, loved dancing, animals and more than anything Eva loved giving and helping others. Eva accepted Christ July 31, 2016 at Rose Of Sharon Ministries Christian Fellowship Center under the leadership of Bishop Dr/ Royce B. Priestly Sr. Eva married the love of her life, John Garcia. They remained as one for twenty-one years until his demise. She was a joy to be around and the laughter of the party. Eva was preceded in death by her husband, John Garcia, parents, Boza and Lucille Jackson and her niece Crystal Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Kamesha Jackson; son, Brandon Gray; grandchildren, Clarence Jackson, Tyreese Collins, Cameron Winston, Jalen Winston, and Jazmine Gray; two great grandchildren, Analyjah Jackson and Aniya Hill; siblings, Jessie M. Jackson, and Leonard C. Jackson; nephew, Gregory Chaney and a host of family and friends.
