Elijah Gerard Leal was born March 29, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas to the parentage of Jessica Leal and Martin Mata. Elijah was also blessed with a bonus father who was a very important part of his life, Derrick Nelson. Elijah received his education in the Northeast Independent School District attending Roosevelt High School. He looked up to his older brother in the military. Elijah had dreams of becoming an entrepreneur owning his own business. Elijah accepted Christ at an early age at Texas Baptist Church.
