On September 13, 1937 Samuel Jonah Sanders was born to Bishop Sr., and Estella Sanders n San Antonio, Texas. Samuel was the sixth of eight children. He graduated from San Antonio Independent School District. Samuel was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost at Faith Temple Apostolic Church under the leadership of the late Pop and Mom Smith. Decades later he moved to Houston, Texas where he served as a deacon and Armor-bearer to the late Bishop David Allen, Sr. at Christ Temple Apostolic church. He continued his membership under his current pastor, Pastor David Allen Jr.
