Donald Townsend affectionately known as “DONLOW” and “COACH LOW” was an energetic and active baby born on April 7, 1992 to the late Mrs. Toni Ann Townsend. Donald received his education attending the Harvary, Louisiana Public School System. He relocated to San Antonio, Texas where he entered the workforce working for Garda World and Essence Preparatory Public School. Donald devoted his time to his family, football and the Next Level Academy Elite Youth Football Team, where he had the honor of coaching his three sons and the NLAE youth. He inspired so many youth players throughout San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Donald taught the kids about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and always put God first. During every practice and games, he had the players resighting a very special prayer. Donald spoke life into his youth and he encouraged them to study hard, do good in school, respect their parents, and dream big. With Donald’s knowledge in football the NLAE football team won many championships, and he was honored to coach alongside with some amazing coaches. He was a devoted husband, father, son and coach.
