Obituary for Diana Balboa

Diana Recio Balboa best known as “NaNa” was born on November 12, 1963 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Martin B. Balboa Sr. and Maria Recio Balboa. Diana received her education in the San Antonio Public School System attending McCollum High School located on the southside of San Antonio, Texas. She was the eldest of five sisters and one brother. Diana had a passion for reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was known to have a bright and energetic personality and had the ability to sense when someone needed help. All who knew Diana loved her. She enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family and friends. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she spent every day living for them. Diana enjoyed her life with her partner, Thomas Salazar. She was a person of faith and will truly be missed. We loved her but God loved her best. Diana was preceded in death by her father, Martin B. Balboa Sr. and two sisters, Silvia and Yesenia Balboa. She leaves to cherish her memory her partner, Thomas Salazar; children, Raymond Miranda Jr., Joshua (Dina) Salazar and Anastasia Salazar; mother, Maria B. Balboa; two granddaughters, Alizaye Faith Salazar and Raelynn Rene Salazar; brother, Martin B. Balboa Jr.; sisters, Gloria Balboa and Monica Balboa Lee (Tony); Margarita Balboa; nieces; nephews and a host of family and friends.
