Dechele Maria Washington was born December 30, 1979 in San Antonio, Texas to Joyce and Albert Washington. Dechele accepted Christ at an early age and was instilled with strong faith in the Lord by her grandmother. She attended various churches until she became an active member at New Method Church now called Becomers Church under the leadership of Pastor Marcus McIntyre. Dechele received her elementary education in the Dallas Public School System. She later relocated with her family back to San Antonio, Texas where she received the remainder of her education in the San Antonio Independent School District attending MLK Middle School and Sam Houston High School where she played Varsity Basketball.
