Christell Thomas Scott was born July 23, 1934 to Porter Thomas and Jessie Mae Blackman in Williamson County, Taylor, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age with membership at the Butler Chapel AME Church under the leadership of Rev. Smith. Christell went on to receive her formal education in San Antonio attending Sojurner Truth in Kenwood. Christell went on to further her education attending Vocational School earning her license as a CNA and through Hick Beauty School as a Hair Stylist.
