Calvin DeRon Rice, Sr. was born September 22, 1976 in Huntsville, Alabama to Cheri R. Rice and Robert W. Rice. Calvin received most of his education in the San Antonio Independent School District, attending Sam Houston High School in San Antonio, Texas. He later earned his GED. Calvin accepted Christ at an early age attending Emmanuel Pentecostal Church Of God In Christ under the leadership of Superintendent B.A. Anthony located in San Antonio, Texas.
