Bettye Louise Sauls was born February 26, 1958 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Joseph White and Thelma Jones White. She received her education in the Killen Public School System attending Haynes Elementary, Rancier Junior High and Killen High School. Bettye continued her education receiving her GED. She entered the workforce in hospitality working in several Home Health Care facilities such as Texas Home Health Care and later transferring to Girling's Home Health Care.
