Arthur Delroy Ezell was born on June 10,1955 in Mobile Alabama to the late Elijah and Louise Ezell. He was the fourth child born of nine children. Roy relocated to San Antonio, Texas with his family at the age of nine. He received his education in the San Antonio Independent School District attending Brackenridge High School. Roy furthered his education attending St. Philips College where he received his degree in Nursing. He entered the workforce working for the Baptist Hospital for many years.
